Chris Wyatt (Walcha, NSW, Australia) [Type II tail visible 50’ in length in P.A. 126°, Inner coma bright, opaque, pale-aqua blue in colour and fanned with centre line position angle at 113° and approximately 5’ in length and 3.5’ in width at its extremity, enhances in Swan Band filter. The Type II tail extends beyond the fan-shaped extension but fades rapidly and is transparent out to its extremity. The Type III tail is slightly curved with convex side to the NW, it traces to 57’ in length in P.A. 033°. A broad semi-transparent patch in the tail is visible 17’ in length and 4.5’ in width approximately at its widest point 8.5’ from coma centre and tapers back into the line of the tail where the tail fades and fans out to full transparency at its extremity]

The Type III dust tail is faintly visible to around 8.2’ in P.A. 027°. Inner coma enhances in Swan Band filter. Twilight and slight interference by the rising Moon]
