Juan José González (Cueto Rosales, alt. 1420 m., León, España) [Lo que puede percibirse del cometa en el post-perihelio muestra visualmente un área elíptica de 10′ de eje mayor, con un grado de condensación algo superior al resto, con centro aproximado en A.R.=16h11m.8, Decl.=-1o45′.0, a una separación del orden de 20′ respecto a las efemérides calculadas con elementos orbitales previos al perihelio. Eran observables dos débiles estructuras en forma de cola, teniendo 0.3º de longitud en A.P. 310 la mejor definida, apareciendo la otra como más corta y dirigida hacia A.P. 180º. Estrellas de campo comprobadas en el DSS. Estrellas de comparación situadas a la misma baja altitud (7º) que el cometa. Observación realizada desde ubicación de montaña con muy buen seeing y transparencia, hasta el nivel del horizonte]

Observed using 7×50 B’s as well, I lost sight of the coma at around 5:05am AEDST (16.75 UT) in deep twilight]

Low alt – 5° for binocular obs, and 7.6° when naked eye. Twilight interfered not long after, I lost visual sighting of comet through the binoculars at 14.74 UT deep in twilight]
